St Peter Chanel (12 July 1803 – 28 April 1841) was born Pierre Louis Marie Chanel. He was a Priest, Missionary and Martyr. He was beatified in 17 Nov. 1889 in Rome by Pope Leo XIII and Canonized on 15 Jan. 1888 by Pope Pius XII. He is the patron saint of Oceania. St. Peter Chanel is the Patron Saint of World Youth Day. Saint Peter Chanel Memorial Feast day is April 28th.
